What is a Clash subscription?

A Clash subscription is a URL that contains your VPN server configuration. You paste this URL into a compatible proxy client (such as Clash Verge, FlClash, or Stash), and the client automatically downloads and updates your server list, protocols, and routing rules.

Do I need to create an account?

No. FreeGuard’s Clash subscription system is anonymous. You only need to provide an email address to receive your subscription credentials. No username, password, or account registration is required.

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept:

  • Credit/debit cards via Stripe (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and more)
  • Cryptocurrency via NOWPayments (Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT, and many others)

What happens when my subscription expires?

When your subscription expires, your VPN connection will stop working. Your subscription URL remains the same — once you renew, the connection will resume without needing to reconfigure your client.

Can I use one subscription on multiple devices?

Yes. You can import the same subscription URL into multiple clients on different devices. There is no strict device limit, but excessive simultaneous connections may be throttled.

How do I switch server nodes?

Open your Clash client, go to the Proxies section, and select a different node from the list. Nodes are typically named by country and protocol (e.g., “US-AnyTLS”, “JP-Hysteria2”).

How do I change protocols?

Protocols are tied to individual nodes. To change protocols, simply select a node that uses the protocol you want. See the Protocol Guide for help choosing the right protocol.

I forgot my credentials or lost my email. What do I do?

Your subscription credentials were sent to the email address you provided at purchase. Search your inbox (including spam/junk folders) for emails from FreeGuard. If you cannot find them, visit /clash/manage and use your email to look up your subscription.

What is the difference between a Clash subscription and the FreeGuard app?

The FreeGuard app is our standalone VPN application with a built-in interface, one-tap connect, and account management. The Clash subscription is a configuration-based service for users who prefer third-party proxy clients like Clash Verge, FlClash, or Stash. Both connect to the same FreeGuard server network.

Which client should I choose?

Recommended clients by platform:

  • Windows / macOS / Linux — Clash Verge or FlClash
  • iOS — Stash
  • Android — FlClash

Is my data secure?

Yes. All supported protocols (AnyTLS, Hysteria2, Trojan) encrypt your traffic. FreeGuard does not log your browsing activity. The anonymous subscription system means there is no account linked to your usage.

Can I get a refund?

Refund policies depend on the payment method and timing. Contact our support for refund requests. Cryptocurrency payments are generally non-refundable due to the nature of blockchain transactions.
