FreeGuard Max: gigabit speeds and twice the first-band data of Pro
Max gives you up to 1000 Mbps across your first 2 TiB each UTC calendar month. That is twice the first-band allowance of Pro at the same maximum speed.
Max data bands and speed limits
The first 2 TiB in a UTC calendar month runs at up to 1000 Mbps. The next 0.5 TiB runs at up to 500 Mbps; after that, the limit is up to 24 Mbps. Traffic continues after the high-speed allowance is consumed. The stated speeds are service limits and are not guaranteed connection speeds.
The reset follows the UTC calendar month, independently of your payment date. A weekly or monthly renewal does not create an additional calendar-month allowance. Compare these limits with your actual usage before choosing Max.
Measured speed and plan limits
FreeGuard internal tests cover Asia, the Middle East, North America and Europe. Pro and Max high-speed bands reached speeds up to 10 times those of other VPNs in tested scenarios. Plus later speed bands reached up to 2 times those of other VPNs, with both the 100 Mbps and 24 Mbps stages included in testing. These multipliers apply to the plans and network scenarios tested; actual speeds vary. They are separate from the service speed limits listed above.

Available billing periods
On September 6, 2026, the standard card catalog offered Max at $14.99 per week and $29.99 per month, in USD. There was no Max yearly option. The website should not substitute a Plus or Pro yearly price when Max yearly is unavailable.
Use the current pricing page to check availability, the total amount due and renewal terms. Card subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. If the monthly upfront payment is too high, compare Max weekly while noting that repeated weekly payments can cost more over continued use.
Max or Pro?
Max and Pro both have a top band of up to 1000 Mbps. Max primarily offers a larger high-speed allowance and a different second band. Paying more does not mean every connection becomes faster. If 1 TiB is enough, Pro may meet your needs. If 300 GiB is enough, compare Plus.
Payment and existing subscriptions
Max currently uses card checkout. Cryptocurrency payments support Plus only, with different entitlements, prices and durations. A wallet payment cannot be used as a Max payment.
Existing subscribers should open subscription management and check the available change, effective date and any charge before confirming. If an earlier payment is still processing or its status is unclear, verify that payment before trying again.
