LG Smart TV VPN Setup Guide (WebOS)

Quick Setup Steps
Step 1: Enable VPN Sharing on Your PC
- Open FreeGuard VPN on your Windows PC or Mac
- Go to Settings and enable TUN Mode
- Enable Allow LAN Access
- Note down the IP address and port number (e.g.,
192.168.1.5:7890)
Step 2: Configure LG WebOS Proxy Settings
- Press the Settings button (gear icon) on your LG Magic Remote
- Navigate to Network → Wi-Fi Connection
- Select your connected Wi-Fi network
- Click Advanced Settings or Edit
- Find Proxy settings and enable it
- Select Manual Setup
- Enter the IP address and port from Step 1
Step 3: Verify Connection
- Open any streaming app on your LG TV (Netflix, YouTube, etc.)
- Check if you can access geo-restricted content
- Your LG Smart TV is now using VPN through your PC!

Troubleshooting LG TV Issues
