PlayStation VPN Setup Guide (PS4 & PS5)

Step 1: Prepare VPN Sharing on Your PC

1. Open FreeGuard VPN and connect to a gaming-optimized server
2. Enable TUN Mode and Allow LAN Access in Settings

4. Choose servers close to game servers for minimal latency

Step 2: Configure PlayStation Network Settings

For PlayStation 5 (PS5):

Reducing Gaming Latency:

• Use wired Ethernet connection for your PC if possible
• Close unnecessary applications on your PC while gaming
• Choose VPN servers geographically close to game servers

PlayStation Store Region Access:

• Connect to VPN server in desired region before accessing PlayStation Store
• Some content may require account region to match VPN location
