# FreeGuard VPN > FreeGuard is a privacy-focused VPN service with native desktop apps (Windows via direct installer; Mac via the Mac App Store or direct DMG), mobile apps (Android on Google Play, iOS on the App Store), a Chrome Web Store extension for browser traffic, and a Go-based CLI for Linux and headless servers. Protocols: anytls, hysteria2, trojan. Content is available in 45 languages; canonical URLs use /{locale}/ subdirectories. ## About FreeGuard - [Home](https://freeguardvpn.com/) - [Pricing](https://freeguardvpn.com/pricing/) - [VPN Nodes](https://freeguardvpn.com/vpn-nodes/) - [Downloads](https://freeguardvpn.com/downloads/) - [Docs / FAQ](https://freeguardvpn.com/docs/faq/) - [What is a VPN?](https://freeguardvpn.com/docs/what-is-vpn/) ## Platforms (downloads) - [Windows](https://freeguardvpn.com/free-vpn/windows/) — NSIS installer from freeguardvpn.com (not on Microsoft Store) - [Mac](https://freeguardvpn.com/free-vpn/mac/) — Mac App Store listing plus DMG downloads from freeguardvpn.com; separate Apple Silicon and Intel builds; Tauri + mihomo core (not native Swift / not Network Extension) - [Android](https://freeguardvpn.com/free-vpn/android/) — Google Play for phones and tablets; mobile direct APK downloads are not currently offered - [iOS](https://freeguardvpn.com/free-vpn/ios/) — App Store; native Swift + Network Extension; on-demand rules; Siri Shortcuts not yet integrated - [Linux](https://freeguardvpn.com/free-vpn/linux/) — CLI only (no desktop GUI); install via install.sh, Homebrew, or GitHub Releases - [Chrome Extension](https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/freeguard-vpn-%C2%B7-stream-pr/mimhkoemfolgmbpimgknmiemfhjaljnl) — Chrome Web Store extension for browser-level proxy protection in Chrome and Chromium-based browsers ## Features (what is actually shipped) - [Split Tunneling](https://freeguardvpn.com/features/split-tunneling/) — Desktop GeoIP region routing (CN/US/JP/KR/RU/IR/ID/AE).
